DENVER, Col. – A woman in Colorado wasn’t about to take her retirement lying down.

Ann Perez, 68, had a dream to become the oldest woman to ever fight in an MMA match.

After getting turned down for years because of her age, she finally was able to fight back in February.

Perez took to the ring with a woman less than half her age.

The people who worked with her for years were surprised by her plan.

Fifteen years worth of training for Perez boiled down to a fight that lasted one minute and 24 seconds.

Perez lost the match by hopes to keep fighting.
