Riot Fest 2016 line-up announced

CHICAGO — Riot Fest unveiled the first wave of its 2016 lineup Wednesday.

The festival returns September 16-18 to the city’s Douglas Park neighborhood.

Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, Rob Zombie and Social Distortion top the line-up, alongside the previously announced reunion of The Original Misfits.

Other reunited bands scheduled are: Thursday, Set Your Goals, and The Anniversary.

Also scheduled to perform: Brand New, NAS, Deftones, Descendants and Jimmy Eat World.

The second wave of lineup announcements will come out in the coming weeks and according to organizers, a few more surprises are in store.
