Tickets are now on sale to see Joe Morton, as comedian and civil rights activist, Dick Gregory. "Turn Me Loose" tells the story of the first black stand-up to use the absurdity of bigotry to attract white audiences. The Broadway play examines the intersection of Dick Gregory's historically successful show business career and his ardent activism and sacrifice of the Civil Rights Era. Like Dick Gregory himself, "Turn Me Loose" tackles race, poverty, war, and politics. "Turn Me Loose" makes its Broadway debut May 19 at the Westside Theatre in New York City.
