Surveillance video released in search for West Chicago hit-and-run suspect

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. — Police in West Chicago have released surveillance video in the search for a hit-and-run suspect.

At 4:30 p.m. Friday, a man was mowing his daughter’s lawn close to the curb when he was clipped by a white minivan and knocked unconscious, West Chicago Police Commander Eric Shipman said.

Shipman said the man had no memory of what happened after waking up and continued on mowing the lawn.

He was not seriously injured but went to the hospital later that day.
