CHICAGO -- Norman  Lear is the television producer of popular 1970's sitcoms such as "All in the Family", "Sanford and Son", "One Day at a Time", "The Jeffersons", "Good Times" and so many more.

Lear and the directors of a new documentary on his life and career, titled "Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You," sat down for a Q&A with WGN's Dean Richards following a screening at the Music Box Theater in Chicago.

During the Q&A, Dean made a comparison between one of Lear's most famous characters, Archie Bunker, and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump - to which Lear replied: "I think, and I have said, that I think of Donald Trump as the middle finger of the American right hand."

At 93-years-old, Lear is still not shying away from controversy.
