Drug dispute may have led to fatal shooting outside Irving Park restaurant

CHICAGO -- A man was shot and killed in Chicago's Irving Park neighborhood over what police believe may have been a drug dispute.

The victim was Moroccan. He was shot in the head and face while in his car at Elston and Pulaski shortly before 11 p.m. Monday.

He died on the sidewalk outside the Tassili Moroccan restaurant, located at 4342 N Elston Ave.

The Chicago Tribune reports, a weapon was recovered at the scene.

A suspect is in custody. Police aren't releasing any names yet.
