Police warn of robberies in Naperville parking lots

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Naperville police are warning the public about a series of armed robberies taking place in parking lots in recent days.

Police say on at least two occasions within six hours last week the suspects struck in parking lots. A female approached victims under the ruse of having some jewelry to sell them and eventually robs them.

Police say she displayed a pocket knife in the first robbery and insinuated she had a gun in the second.

Another incident involved a suspect described as a man in his 30s.

The address of the incidents include the 200 block of S Route 59 and the 500 block of S Route 59.

Police don't have a sketch of the suspects but are trying to determine if any video from many stores out here aid in the investigation
