Aire: Located in the Financial District on the 24th floor of Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago, the local craft brew-focused rooftop lounge is set to open in mid-May. Ideal for the architectural buff and those looking for a place to wind down after work, Aire showcases many of the area’s historic banking and business buildings.

Fremont: Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon is a day party at this River North-based restaurant and bar. The spacious rooftop offers some of the most coveted seats as well as the deejay, who spins contemporary beats. Brunch features a Doughnut Vault tower, unlimited seafood options and more. It’s open now.

Joy District: The contemporary American and Asian-focused eatery is open now in River North, but the rooftop lounge is set to open in mid-May. Joy District’s 3,000-square-foot bar channels a Miami-esque vibe, complete with frozen craft cocktails, cushy lounge furniture and spectacular views of the city.

LondonHouse: Opening this summer, LondonHouse’s tri-level rooftop aims to be the most spectacular Chicago has ever seen. It’s perched directly above the Chicago River and the Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago.

Raised: It’s set to open in mid-May on the third floor of Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. That makes it ideal for post-work cocktails, brunch and more. It’s directly across the street from the Chicago Riverwalk and overlooks the Chicago River and all the action along the strip. The cocktail and cuisine programs are hyper-local, with an emphasis on area farmers and purveyors.
