LYONS, Ill. -- A man has been charged with murder in the deaths of two people in a suburban senior high-rise building.

Authorities say 67-year-old John Arnold, a resident of River Walk Senior Residences, fatally stabbed two fellow residents.

73-year-old David Bosseler and  a 51-year-old female victim, whose name is being withheld until her family can be notified, were killed Sunday night.

Police said that Bosseler and the female victim knew Arnold, and they got into an argument with him  over the weekend about missing property. Arnold told police that Bosseler had taken his property.

Arnold allegedly waited outside Bosseler’s  apartment until the door opened and then lunged into the apartment stabbing and killing both victims.

Arnold is charged with two counts of murder and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeview Bond Court Wednesday morning.
