HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. — Tickets to Ravinia’s 2016 season went on sale today at 5 a.m., but there was a problem with the company processing the credit card purchases nationwide.

The problem has now been resolved.

A Ravinia representative tells WGN the problems with the national credit card processing firm “Authorize.net” have been resolved, and transactions are coming in at thousands per second.

So far, the only show that is completely sold out is Paul Simon – but that is sure to change throughout the morning.

Ravinia is scheduled to kick off June 2. Performances at the festival by Bob Dylan, Diana Ross and Dolly Parton are among the 140-plus concerts and events.
