CHICAGO -- Matt "Doctor" Fink, who played keyboards in Prince's band The Revolution in the 80s, joined WGN Morning News Friday to talk about the music legend.
He just happened to be touring in the area with his Prince tribute band called Purple Xperience.
During the interview, Fink shared some amazing stories about the artist, including one time that Prince and Michael Jackson played basketball together in Los Angeles.
"Prince would be at Sunset Sound recording, and one time Michael came by for a visit just to say hello and hang out, and they played basketball a little bit," Fink said. "They respected each other as artists."
Fink also said that Quincy Jones came out to Minneapolis to as Prince to be the foil character in Michael Jackson's "Bad" video.
"When he saw the lyrics about 'your butt is mine,' or whatever, Prince said 'absolutely not!'" Fink said.
You can see Fink and the Purple Xperience Friday night at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles.
