CTA Blue Line service restored after person fatally struck

CHICAGO — CTA Blue Line service was restored Monday morning after a person was fatally struck by a train,.

It happened at 6:57 a.m. Monday at 3355 W. Belmont.

CTA officials says to expect residual delays and allow for extra travel time.

The incident appears to have been a suicide. The age and gender of the person is not known yet.
