CHICAGO – Today, the third Monday in April, is the deadline to file those income returns. But this year weather-wise there's nothing taxing going on at all -- just pleasure, no pain!

Those of us who call Chicago home know when a day like today comes around in a most unpredictable month such as April, we stop to smell the flowers.

Young lovers embrace the warmth of the sun and the just-got-green grass. Others enjoy a park bench with an old friend.

Temperatures reached 80 degrees in Chicago for the first time this year -- unseasonably high and a surprise given just a couple of weeks ago the weather resembled that more commonly associated with late winter.

Later in the week Chicago can expect some rain and showers before another warm weekend.
