Motorcycle crash on Eisenhower temporarily shuts down outbound lanes; later reopened

CHICAGO — Outbound Eisenhower Expressway lanes were closed Saturday morning due to an accident involving a motorcycle.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. near Kostner Avenue. The lanes were closed for a few hours. Illinois State Police told WGN-TV around 1 p.m. that the lanes had been reopened.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
