CHICAGO - Over the past few years he's brought awareness to mental health issues affecting people across the country with his platform as an NFL football player.
Now Brandon Marshall has others helping out his cause.
On Saturday at Spin Chicago Ping Pong downtown, Bears offensive guard Kyle Long joined in for the Paddle Battle fundraiser for Project 375, the organization created by Marshall to help raise money for children's mental health services in Chicago.
Long will pick up the paddle and play along with fans as the event tries to raise $100,000 dollars to aid Project 375.
On WGN News at 5 PM, Jarrett Payton spoke with Long on the show about his reasons for teaming with Marshall for the event. To watch the interview, click on the video above.
