A Facebook post about a man’s act of kindness at a Denny’s in Utah is going viral.

According to the Love What Matters Facebook page post, the man came into the restaurant and asked for a waitress who is a single mother. Over the next two hours, he paid for seven families’ bills, over $1,000.

“I asked, ‘Why did you do that?’ You simply said, ‘Family is everything, I’ve lost all mine,'” the story narrator says. “Looking into your eyes while you said that made me tear up (It’s why I walked away so quickly) as soon as I got in the back I broke down in tears because your eyes had so much pain in them.”

But the man’s kindness didn’t stop there. He tipped his waitress Crystal, who is a single mother, $1,500 on his $21.34 bill. Apparently Crystal and her son were living in a shelter, and now, thanks to the man’s tip, they will be able to afford a place of their own.

“Crystal told me she prayed the night before for a miracle and God sent you,” the story narrator says. “You left before any of us could say thank you, I hope you read this because you’re truly an amazing person and you stole the hearts of every one of us here. Thank you.”

The Facebook post has been liked over 325,000 times and shared over 160,000 times.
