CHICAGO - On the surface, everything looks much better for the Blackhawks than it did a few weeks ago.

Four wins in their last five games have taken them out of danger of falling into a Wild Card spot in the Western Conference and with 101 points they are looking forward to defending their Stanley Cup starting in a week.

But in this stretch the Blackhawks haven't beaten a team heading to the playoffs and they are still without their top goaltender as the regular season comes to an end. Plus the team will have to start the playoffs without Duncan Keith who got suspended six games last week.

John Dietz of the Daily Herald came on Sports Feed on Wednesday to discuss all of the good and the bad as the Blackhawks head to the playoffs next week.
