CHICAGO – Joel Quenneville will get some veteran help for his team’s playoff run over the next few weeks.

On Wednesday the team announced that they have recalled forward Bryan Bickell from Rockford.

The three-time Stanley Cup champion has spent the majority of his season with the Ice Hogs, logging 44 games as opposed to 23 with the Blackhawks.

With the AHL squad Bickell has 15 points and 16 assists. He’s tallied just two assists in his time in the NHL this season.

Thanks to a high salary, the Blackhawks have elected to keep Bickell in the minors to avoid salary cap issues.
