Bears add more offensive line depth with the signing of Ted Larsen

The Bears have sign offensive lineman Ted Larsen to a one-year contract.

LAKE FOREST – A free agency period full of defensive acquisitions has turned offensive the past few days.

After signing guard and center Manny Ramirez to a one-year , deal Wednesday, the Bears inked a deal with guard Ted Larsen today on a contract.

The former Arizona Cardinals’ starter gets a one-year deal as well and will add depth at the guard position currently held by Kyle Long and Matt Slauson.

Larsen has played six seasons in the NFL starting with the Buccaneers (2010-2014) and the Cardinals (2014-2015). He has started 57 games over six seasons-34 coming at left guard, 13 at right guard and ten games at center.

Last season Larsen started three games at left guard and nine at right guard including two playoff games.
