2 killed, several wounded in Thursday shootings

CHICAGO --  Two people were killed Thursday and a teenager was wounded when four men jump out of minivan and open fired in the city’s Garfield Park neighborhood.

Shots were fired in the 4300 block of Wilcox around 4 p.m.

23-year-old Demetrious Tolliver and a 43-year-old woman were fatally wounded.  A 16-year-old male was shot in the leg.  He is expected to survive.

Police are unsure who may have been the target or why but are confident it was gang related.

A source says Tolliver had gang ties
