CHICAGO — Cook County prosecutors have dropped narcotics charges against a man and his wife who said they were framed more than a decade ago.

Ben Baker was released from jail in January.

Several days ago, he and his wife filed a petition saying Sgt. Ronald Watts planted drugs on both of them in 2005.

Watts and one of his officers were charged in 2012 of shaking down a drug courier who turned out to be an FBI informant.
