MESA, Ariz. — Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant played an excellent trick on an unsuspecting community college in Arizona.

The 24-year-old Rookie of the Year winner is still relatively unknown — outside of Chicago anyway — so he used his anonymity for a bit of fun.

Mesa Community College coach Anthony Cirelli was in on the joke, and warned his players about the new European transfer’s hitting ability.

Bryant was introduced to the team as “Roy Nabryt,” or Rookie of the Year and “Bryant” scrambled. Once Bryant started hitting, it didn’t take the team long to realize he was no ordinary transfer student.

This isn’t the first time Bryant has pranked people. Remember that time he posed as an Lyft driver?
