CHICAGO -- Who hasn’t dreamt of flying, of being super hero soaring through the skies? Now you can experience the thrill of skydiving – indoors - without the fear of crashing to the ground.
iFly is opening its first central urban location in the U.S. in Chicago’s Lincoln Park.
A quick training video and a little instruction is all it takes to get you off the ground. With a few tips on hand signals – necessary in the windy tunnel environment – you’ll be ready to go..
Four minutes in the tunnel is roughly similar to more than four actual sky dives. The only difference? Here they say body flight is for anyone aged three to 103.
iFly sessions run $70 on up. Right now leagues run at their other two locations in Rosemont and Naperville, and it is growing in popularity: to date there are 48 tunnels like this in the world.
iFly Chicago officially opens Wednesday.
