2 firefighters among 4 hurt, dogs and cats rescued in Albany Park fire

CHICAGO --  Four people, including two firefighters, were injured today in a fire in the Albany Park neighborhood.

One resident of the apartment building located at 3300 block of West Berteau Avenue was taken to a hospital in fair to serious condition.  Another resident was transported in good to fair condition.

Both firefighters were also taken to hospitals -- one after falling from a first floor window, the other with minor burns.

Several dogs and cats were rescued.

The Chicago Red Cross is helping displaced residents.
