Fire destroys West Town home

CHICAGO – A big fire destroyed a home in the West Town neighborhood.

It happened at about 2:30 this morning on the 2200 block of W. Ohio.

About a dozen people left their homes in a neighboring apartment building when they saw the flames.

Firefighters rescued a 13-year-old resident’s dog, Rocky.

Residents say everyone got out safely and is okay.
