OAKLAND, Calif. — Police in Northern California say gunmen fired into a moving party bus early today, wounding four people, one of them critically.

The California Highway Patrol says the chartered executive limo bus was leaving San Francisco when two gunmen in a red SUV drove alongside and opened fire. But police say passengers on the bus refused to give statements or provide descriptions of the shooters.

The Oakland Tribune reports the incident is the eighth freeway shooting in the area since November.
