CHICAGO – Derrick Rose will sit out his eleventh game of the year tonight, this time with a strained groin.

Coach Fred Hoiberg says he tweaked his groin late in the fourth quarter last night in San Antonio and tested this morning before deciding it was too sore to play.

Until now, Rose had not missed a game in the month of March, during which he is averaging 18 points and 6 assists in five contests.

Newcomer Justin Holiday will take Rose’s spot in the starting lineup.

Since joining the Bulls in February, Holiday has played in nine games, scoring just under 4 points a game.

Tonight’s game against the Heat can be seen on WGN at 7PM.
