CHICAGO -- On a cold Saturday in March, leave it to Chicagoans to show their warm hearts in the most bizarre ways.

This is the 11th year of CHIditarod: part party, part race – but all of it to fight hunger.

“All the food we raise, which will be 10’s of thousands of pounds, will go to our friends at the Greater Chicago Food Depository,” said CHIditarod co-founder Devin Breen.
