TV show ‘Married at First Sight’ casting singles in Chicago

CHICAGO — Six Chicagoans will soon have the chance to marry a complete stranger and be part of the fourth season of the hit TV show “Married at First Sight”.

Single men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 will have the chance to audition this month in the Chicagoland area.

Casting producers say successful contestants must be ready for a committed relationship.

If selected, the only catch is that you won’t be able to meet your significant other until the moment you walk down the aisle.

Four dating specialists will create what they feel is the “perfect couple” by using scientific matchmaking. The specialists include a sexologist, psychologist, sociologist and a spiritual adviser.

The show follows six brave singles who a just yearning for a partner for life and requires the contestants to get legally married to a stranger the moment they first meet.

Six weeks later after the couples’ honeymoon, the couples are then asked if they really want to stay together. The last couple in the competition wins.

“Married at First Sight” first premiered on A&E in 2014 and just wrapped up its third season.
