Cyber security experts warn against Facebook ‘click-bait’ quizzes
CHICAGO — Facebook quizzes may seem like harmless entertainment, but think twice before you start clicking.
Cyber experts say hackers can use them to hijack accounts. They use quizzes to disguise links that can trick you into downloading malware or steal your information.
You can protect your privacy by not taking any quizzes that want you to sign in or input your email address.
And just because a friend posted the link, it doesn’t mean it’s safe.
