PAINCOURTVILLE, La. — A woman in Louisiana has quite a story! She found herself outside during a tornado without shelter. And she survived.

Surveillance video from a hardware store shows FedEx worker Kyra Johnson finishing up a delivery when she tried getting in the door. It was locked, so she huddled next to a Coke machine.

Seconds later, the tornado blew through with 140 mile per hour winds and sent debris everywhere, destroying the store.

Johnson says it’s a miracle she survived.

“I just braced myself right here between the Coke machine and I wasn’t even holding on, it was just to brace myself,” she said. “God had us in his hands the whole time.”

Employees of the store and the owner took shelter in a bathroom. Amazingly, no one was injured.
