Metra service halted near Glencoe after pedestrian struck

First Metra board meeting after several board members resign

GLENCOE — Northbound Metra train #350 struck a pedestrian late this afternoon in Glencoe near Park Avenue and Green Bay Road

Trains have been stopped in both directions. According to Metra, the pedestrian is alive and was transported to Evanston Hospital.

Metra service is expected to be back up and running soon.
