CHICAGO - It's the beginning of March. Some teams are entering like a Lion while others are like a Lamb.

That's just how it goes as baseball gets ready to begin and the playoffs loom for NBA along with NHL teams.

The Bulls are more of the latter as injuries and bad defense have seen them fall completely out of the NBA Playoff race in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile the Blackhawks are surging towards the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and poised for a repeat championship.

Meanwhile the Cubs look poised to end their century-long World Series championship drought with a loaded roster that's ready to begin spring training games on Thursday. The White Sox are in the middle-potential talent but no one is quite sure what to expect.

Veteran WBBM-AM reporter George Ofman talked about all those topic during his appearance on Wednesday's Sports Feed.
