CTU, supporters gather for protest march downtown

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Teachers Union and their supporters are gathering for a protest march downtown.

They plan to head to the River Point development project on Lake Street, which is being built with nearly 30 million dollars in TIF funds.

It's money the CTU says could be better used to help stop the next round of upcoming layoffs at Chicago's public schools.
