CHICAGO — Quick action by a Chicago police officer saved a woman’s life.

The woman reportedly collapsed and lost consciousness Sunday at O’Hare.

The officer requested a defibrillator to revive her, but before it arrived, she had already regained consciousness, thanks to chest compression’s performed by the officer.

The woman was then taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
