As of 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the OEMC announced that the following streets are still closed:

  • 21st street is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from State to Culleton until a building at 2001 S. State is assessed by the Department of Buildings to be sure that all scaffolding is secure and all plastic removed.
  • The stop lights near the United Center are still blinking. The OEMC are working to get them restored.
  • Streets and San are reporting less than 50 tree emergencies, down from the original 176 reported last night.

ComEd is reporting 99 percent of outages have now been restored.

The OEMC will be updating conditions later in the afternoon. WGN will bring you that update as we get it.
