PHOTOS: Powerful winds ravage Chicago area

CHICAGO — Winds clocking in at 50 to 60 miles per hour blew through the Chicago area Friday afternoon.

As a result, Loop buildings were evacuated, CTA train lines were halted, trees fell on top of cars and houses, and even the Willis Tower Skydeck shut down.
