CALUMET PARK, Ill. -- High winds that are clocking in at nearly 50 miles an hour caused a building to collapse in south suburban Calumet Park.

Debris was scattered all over the street. Luckily no one was inside or walking by at the time.

The sign at a nearby gas station was also blown down.

It crashed into a street light.

The street light fell onto Ashland Avenue and blocked traffic in both directions.

No cars were damaged.

Crews are on scene working to clean up the mess.
