CHICAGO - He was always an active player on the field an usually had an interesting thing or to when he spoke to the media or on social media.

But nothing may top Jared Allen's exit from the game of football on Thursday.

On his Twitter account the former Bears' defensive end announced that he was "Riding Into The Sunset" after 12 years in the NFL-and that's exactly what he did.

That video is the highlight of #FeedonThis for Thursday's Sports Feed. Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman led off the Social Fodder segment with Allen's unique goodbye to the NFL.

That day was also the NBA Trade Deadline and the Bulls didn't exactly make any major splashes.

The only trade they made was sending Kirk Hinrich to the Hawks for backup guard Justin Holiday and a second round draft pick. Pau Gasol and Taj Gibson are still on the roster moving forward for the rest of the season as other deals failed to pan out.
