CHICAGO — This year’s trend of daily gun violence continues.

Over 370 people have been shot in Chicago this year.

At least five were shot Monday through early Tuesday.

This comes after a weekend where six people were shot and killed. Fourteen were wounded.

This year is on pace to have more than double the number of shootings as last year, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Seventy people have been killed, which means fatal shootings are up 130 percent.
