Just in time for Presidents’ Day…

Among his many accomplishments, Founding Father Thomas Jefferson can be credited with one thing: bringing mac n cheese to the U.S.

The third president developed a fondness for cheese and pasta, along with wine and ice cream, while ambassador to France.

He even had a macaroni pasta machine shipped over and served mac n cheese at a state dinner once.
