CHICAGO -- A state lawmaker seeking re-election is responding to a political flier that accuses him of trying to hide his criminal record and of being a "deadbeat dad."

The 42nd Ward Democratic Organization is circulating the mailer that targets State Rep. Ken Dunkin. Leading democrats have lined up against his challenger, Juliana Stratton.

WGN's Gaynor Hall spoke with both candidates, Friday night.
