OREM, Utah -- A police officer in Utah stepped up in a family's moment of need.
A man was about to appear in court, but there was no one to watch his young daughter.
Surveillance video shared on the Orem Police Department's Facebook page shows Officer Kevin Norris acting as a stellar babysitter. He was waiting to testify in a hearing when he saw the lively 2-year-old girl waiting with her father.
Since kids aren't allowed in courtrooms, the officer offered to babysit. The little girl took a liking to him. The video shows them holding hands and playing games together.
Eventually the little girl fell asleep in the officer's lap.
