WILLISTON, N.D. — Investigators say a Chicago-based heroin ring is linked to a string of overdoses in a North Dakota oil town.

Three men are facing felony drug conspiracy charges that carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole.  At least two of the suspects are from Chicago.

The victims include one man who died and nine people who ended up in the hospital.

They were found in homes, motels and cars across the oil patch hub of Williston, North Dakota.

Police are still looking for a fourth suspect.
