ST. LOUIS — A black and white colobus monkey at the St. Louis Zoo has a very special namesake.

He was named Ziggy since he was born the same day that music legend David Bowie died. “Ziggy Stardust” was one of Bowie’s most popular on-stage personas.

According to KTVI, Ziggy’s mother Cecelia, 16, has two other children, Simon and Kivuli.

The family can be seen at the zoo’s Primate House.
