Chicago neighborhood named ‘Hottest Neighborhood’ in America

CHICAGO — A neighborhood in Chicago was named ‘Hottest Neighborhood’ in the country.

Redfin released its yearly report ranking the “Hottest Neighborhoods of 2016” and Chicago’s Ukrainian Village took the No. 1 spot.

The report is calculated by measuring which neighborhoods in 32 cities across the country has the highest increase in total page views and favorites on the Redfin website and apps during the second half of 2015.

Eastwood of Nashville, Ericsson of Minneapolis, Hyde Park of Austin and Mount Pleasant of Washington also made the report’s top 5.

According to Redfin, the three ‘hottest’ Chicago neighborhoods of 2016 are:

1.) Ukrainian Village (also, first in country)

2.) West Loop

3.) East Village
