Mike Groh is leaving the Bears to join the LA Rams coaching staff.

LAKE FOREST – It’s only been a year since the Bears completely overhauled their coaching staff but it looks like they are having to do at least part of that again in 2016.

On Monday the Bears confirmed that wide receivers coach Mike Groh is leaving the team to take the same position and the duties as passing game coordinator for the LA Rams.

Groh was an assistant for three seasons with the Bears working with the receivers under head coach Marc Trestman and John Fox. He was considered a candidate for the Bears’ quarterback coach job but last Friday the team decided to hire Redskins offensive quality control coach Dave Ragone.

The Bears also announced that assistant strength and conditioning coach Jim Arthur has left to join former offensive coordinator and current Dolphins head coach Adam Gase’s staff in Miami in the same position.
