Police questioning three persons of interest in Lakeview robbery, home invasion

CHICAGO – Chicago Police Area North detectives are questioning three persons of interest after a 77-year-old woman was injured during a home invasion and robbery in the 3600 block of North Magnolia in the city’s Lakeview neighborhood.

Police said they responded to a call of a burglary at 6 a.m.

Upon arrival they found a door to the residence forcibly opened and also found a victim on the kitchen floor with visible head injuries.

The 77-year-old female victim was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is now in stable condition.

An investigation is underway.
