CHICAGO -- A 17-year-old boy was killed in a drive-by shooting in the city's Brighton Park neighborhood.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of West 41st Place.

Minutes after the drive-by, police say they saw a vehicle speeding away and chased it.

That car crashed at 33rd and Claremont.

At least one round was fired by police-- no one was hit.

Police caught two people from that car, but a third is still on the loose.

It’s not yet clear whether the car from the chase is related to the homicide.
