7 injured in crash with a CTA bus on Lake Shore Drive

CHICAGO – Seven people were injured after two cars collided with a stalled CTA bus on Lake Shore Drive.
It happened at about 11:30p.m. Friday night in the southbound lanes near South 32nd Street.
The CTA bus was sitting on the shoulder and the driver was the only one on board.

A car crashed into the bus and an SUV rolled over into the median.

Seven people were injured and taken to local hospitals for treatment.

All traffic in the southbound lanes was shut down for about two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
Police haven’t determined what caused the crash.
